CuriousTraveler Tours

CuriousTraveler Tours is coming soon to metro Chicago!

Hello, friends and readers.  Did you miss our Route 66 Anniversay Lecture on “The Lost Airports of Route 66” over at the Winfield Library?  No problem:  we do lectures by request for armchair travelers like you, and our group rates are pretty reasonable.  You can make arrangements for us to address your group by sending Marie an e-mail to CuriousTraveler66@gmail.com.  We have a variety of topics pertaining to Route 66 in the metro area and to Chicago.  Just ask us!  We’ll be posting a partial list of topics soon.

Meanwhile, your friendly authors here are putting together a new venture related to our book research:  a guided tour service for custom tours!  The tours we’ve done so far for the Route 66 public art tour and for the Illinois Geographical Society field trips have made us realize we have so much more information from our research that we can share with curious travelers in the metro area.

We’re still putting our plans and itineraries together, so watch this space for further details.  We hope to be up and running soon, all year ’round! We welcome your ideas, too: send your suggestions to CuriousTraveler66@gmail.com and tell us what you’d most like to see along Route 66 or the metro area in general.

Your Chicago and Route 66 tour guides,
Marie, Joe and Keith
